An Objective Drawing

The final drawing I focused more detail on was a metallic silver, shiny shoe with a few features I thought would make for an interesting challenge. I wanted the shine to be obvious withe reflective shadows that bounced around the shoe. I decided the best medium to use for this effect was charcoal, but also adding pen to define certain areas that were too fine for charcoal. I'm pleased with result and feel the shine was present... either that or they look dirty...
